Rob Holdstock Bulletins

As recorded on the Links Page, Rob Holdstock is still in hospital. The essentials and the latest update will continue to appear there, but older bulletins are now being moved to this temporary page.

• 18/19 November: Rob Holdstock is seriously ill in intensive care at a London hospital. Sarah asks: Please don't try to phone or visit the hospital. Fingers crossed in hope of better news.
• Later: slight improvement reported. The diagnosis is E. coli infection.
• 20 November: "the positive news is that Rob remained stable overnight."
• 21 November: Rob continues stable; "things are moving a little bit in the right direction."
• 22 November: "some very tiny improvements."
• 23 November: "Another stable night for Rob with incremental improvements in a range of areas. Though the changes in Rob's condition will seem slow to us all, the medical team say his progress is good ..."
• 24 November: "another stable night for Rob. Keep hoping and praying for further improvements soon."
• 25 November: "Rob's condition, though stableish, has worsened and he is on full support again. We'll all be hoping and praying that this is just a brief setback ..."
• 26 November: "Rob was stable all day yesterday and over night ... the hospital is quite pleased with that given the earlier setback." His early progress is regarded as more encouraging than any such occasional dip.
• 27 November: no change since yesterday -- still stable, still on support.
• 28 November: "Rob remains stableish and the team is working hard to try to find something which will improve his condition."
• 29 November: Rob died at 4am this morning. Sarah was with him. Everyone who knew Rob is devastated. There will be no further updates here.
